Sentence fragments in The Smallest Dragonboy

Literature 1:

  1. Read the following story called "The Smallest Dragonboy" by Anne McCaffrey.
  2. Within the text, locate the pieces of dialogue that are not complete sentences (sentence fragments).
  3. Why do you think that the author chose to write these sentence fragments.
  4. Be prepared to discuss your answers in class.
